Territorial Sales Representative

Our rapid growth in dealing with customers, dealers and OEM’s has created a need for us to develop new sales territories within North America. NOVATRAX International Inc is a young vibrate company looking for individuals who thrive in a team and goal oriented environment. We supply a new and innovative product that is used in the Farm / Forestry / Construction & Waste Industries.

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated and well organized Sales Person to fill our expanding sales areas. This person must have excellent oral and written communication skills, computer experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook and must possess a minimum Grade 12 education and have a good mechanical aptitude.

Job Objective:

The successful candidate will utilize their experience to increase sales and expand the company’s territory into untapped markets.

They will establish an active dealer network, and research / contact potential customers to sell our specialized product as required, achieving target sales objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role involves responsibility for the entire sales cycle from lead generation through post sale follow-up including:

Gain complete understanding of products sold

Prospect new customers – make cold calls

Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers

Establish and maintain an active dealer network.

Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers / dealers to ensure that NOVATRAX International is exceeding their expectations

Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives

Provide after sales customer support

Attend trade shows

Write reports – sales potential, growth expectations, achievement, etc.

Derive a marketing plan to meet sales objectives

Maintain accurate files

Share best practices with other TSR’s to enhance the quality and efficiency of sales team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

3 – 5 years sales experience

Minimum Grade 12 Diploma, (Business Administration or Marketing Diploma would be an asset)

Proven skills in the complete sales process

Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills – English Language

Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Good mechanical aptitude

Excellent organization skills

Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed

Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Additional Assets:

Knowledge of the Heavy equipment – farm, forestry, construction & waste

French or Spanish communication skills - verbal and written

Experience with Business Visions

Lines of Communication:

As a territorial sales representative you will work among a team of other sales representative, reporting to the Sales Manager.

You will need to work together with our manufacturing manager, and accounting liaisons to provide the necessary manufacturing and billing instructions for orders taken; including parts ordered, delivery dates required, unit sale price and discount provided, etc.

Hours of Work:

The accepted candidate will be employed on a full time basis, with daily working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a half hour unpaid lunch.

Additional hours may be required during travel away from the office in pursuit of sales (customer / dealer visits, tradeshows, etc).

A probationary period will apply for the first 6-months; in which the employer will evaluate the employee’s performance and fit as a part of our growing company.

Salary & Benefits:

We offer a competitive base salary (depending on experience) along with additional commission on completed sales.

Start Date:

The accepted candidate may start immediately or on a date as agreed upon.
