| Senior Manager, Human Resources For thirty years, The Original Cakerie has built its business on the quality of products and our exceptionally committed employees. With 400 employees in our British Columbia facility, we are producing amazing desserts that are sold across North America. In order to better serve our Eastern Canadian and US customers, our privately owned company is expanding with the addition of a second manufacturing plant in London Ontario. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Human Resources to join our London team and be a part of this exciting opportunity to open our second facility! The Senior Manager of Human Resources reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and collaborates with the entire British Columbia Human Resources team to ensure the strategic and operational activities of people and process are aligned with our company culture. Key Accountabilities: * Providing leadership guidance, consultation and support in the broad field of employee relations and employee services * Champion of corporate Human Resources leadership by implementing, communicating and developing goals, objectives and policies, ensuring consistency with our corporate mission, vision, values and culture. * Culture champion of People and Change Management * Provides corporate recruitment services, driving talent acquisition for our British Columbia and Ontario facilities * Direct manager of HR support staff in Ontario responsible for labour scheduling and payroll * Provides leadership in performance accountability, coaching and development and conflict resolution * Coordinates corporate communication and leads activities and events to recognize employee contributions Qualifications: * 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience * University Degree; CHRP designation an asset * Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to form strong relationships at all levels * A leader that is customer focused and committed to creating an exceptional employee experience * Proficient with MS Office applications * Working knowledge of business operations * Ability to travel If you like to be challenged and prefer working in an environment that is committed to excellence and people first, then we would like to hear from you. | |
