Church Administrator/Bookkeeper Valleyview Mennonite Church Administrator/Bookkeeper Position. This is a permanent position with a tentative starting date of May 4, 2010. The Administrator works closely with the pastors to manage the administrative and community matters of the congregation in an efficient, professional and confidential manner. The Administrator and pastors will work as a team with the pastors taking the lead role. Responsibilities will include general office work, acting as receptionist, opening mail, preparing the weekly bulletin, providing information via e-mail, updating the website, and other duties as requested by the pastors. The Administrator will also be responsible for the bookkeeping responsibilities of the Corporation – these include payment of bills and submitted expense reports, calculation of salary payments, monitoring of bank accounts, etc. It is anticipated that the Administrator will provide a presence in the church office from Tuesday – Friday for approximately 5 hours per day (20 hours per week). Flexibility within this schedule may be discussed with the pastors. Applications for the Administrator position should be submitted before Monday April 5, 2010.
